My name is Rebecca. I was born in 2007. I live with my aunt and her children in a courtyard we share with six other people. We have a mud brick home with no electricity. We get our water from a nearby well. When I was younger, both my parents died. I was lucky to have an aunt and uncle who wanted me to come and live with them. Then my uncle died. My aunt does her best for us. She is cleaning offices to earn money to buy food. There is not much left for school fees. I also have a problem with my ears, making it difficult to hear. I love school and want to be a teacher. Math is my favorite subject. I help my aunt after school by cleaning the courtyard and preparing food. I play a lot of different games with my friends. One is similar to Chinese jumprope.
