The life of a single mother is filled with challenges. For a widow raising three children in West Africa, those challenges can be especially difficult.

This is the situation Aminata has faced since the death of her husband seven years ago, when she was just 40 years old. She worked as a school secretary, which allowed her children to attend the school at no cost. Sadly, the school has since closed, leaving Aminata without employment and without the means to continue her children’s education.

Today, Aminata is doing everything she can to provide the basic necessities of life—food, shelter, clothing, and medical care—for herself and her three cildren.  She continues to search for work but has not yet been successful.

Aminata would be deeply blessed to have someone come alongside her and become her sponsor.

Through sponsorship, Aminata and her family would receive two donations each year, providing a  100 pounds of rice each time, helping ensure that her family has food to eat throughout the year.
