Salimata is a bright and determined young girl living in challenging circumstances. Although she comes from a Muslim family and her parents are both alive, she currently resides with another family member. Her family depends on a small farm to supply their food for the year, as none of them have regular employment. Their home lacks running water and electricity, and the nearest well is a kilometer away. Every day, Salimata walks a kilometer to school since she does not have a bicycle, showing her dedication to education despite the obstacles she faces.

Salimata’s favorite subject is math, and she enjoys playing games with her friends when she has free time. Sometimes, she helps her family by doing the dishes. Despite the hardships, she dreams of becoming a nurse when she grows up, hoping to serve her community and care for others.
