Meet Salimata Compaore
Salimata Compaore is a bright and enthusiastic first grader (2024-25) who lives with her uncle. Despite the challenges of not having electricity or running water at home, Salmata is determined to excel in her studies.
She walks 2 kilometers to school every day, where her favorite subject is math. Salmata dreams of becoming a teacher one day.
