Raicha was born on September 18, 2015, in one of the poorest countries in West Africa. Though she is still very young, she has already faced many hardships.

Her father was ill for many years. In a desperate effort to save his life, the family sold nearly all of their meager possessions to pay for medical treatment. Sadly, he did not survive. After his passing, Raicha’s mother was left with the responsibility of raising three young children on her own.

Raicha’s mother works hard as a weaver, but her income is not enough to meet the family’s basic needs. As a result, Raicha’s older sister has taken a job as a maid to help support the household. Even with both of them working, the family continues to struggle to make ends meet.

Raicha is currently in the fifth grade (2025–2026), and her younger brother is in the first grade. Her mother understands that education can open the door to greater opportunities for her children, and keeping them in school is one of her highest priorities.
