Ouekienma Beatrice

Ouekienma was born in 2009. After failing a standardized test at the end of 6th grade for the second time, her father would not allow her to return to school. This brought an unexpected end to her formal education.

Both of Ouekienma’s parents are still living, but her father is elderly and no longer able to work in the fields. Ouekienma now helps her mother care for him and assists with the needs of her younger siblings. She carries significant responsibility at a young age and desires the opportunity to build a better future.

Ouekienma is an excellent candidate for the Residential Girls Training Center. There she will learn valuable skills such as sewing, traditional weaving, animal husbandry, and gardening. She is eager to gain these practical skills so that she can one day help support herself and contribute to her family’s well-being.

A sponsor for Ouekienma will ensure that her tuition, room, and board are fully provided, giving her the opportunity to learn, grow, and develop the skills she needs for a hopeful and independent future.
