Growing up without her mother has left Nema feeling sad and lonely. Nema was born in 2019 and was just six years old when her mother passed away after a long illness. Today, Nema lives with her father in a remote village in West Africa.

Nema’s father is a farmer, like many others in their village. Life is difficult. Their small home is made of mud bricks, and they have no running water or electricity. Her father works hard to provide the basic necessities of life for his young daughter, but his resources are very limited.

Like every loving parent, Nema’s father dreams of a brighter future for his daughter. He knows that education can open doors and give Nema opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach.

Now, during the 2026–2027 school year, Nema is in the second grade. School is a happy place for her. She loves spending time with her friends and is excited to learn how to read and write. Her enthusiasm for learning gives her father hope for her future.

Nema is hoping to find a sponsor who will help ensure that her school fees are paid so she can continue her education without interruption.

A sponsor would also bring an incredible blessing to Nema and her father. Twice a year, they would receive soap and 100 pounds of rice—simple gifts that would make a tremendous difference for a family carrying such a heavy burden.
