Each day, Mariam laces up her shoes and walks two kilometers to reach her school, never letting the journey dampen her enthusiasm for learning. Math is her favorite subject, and she often shares her love of numbers with her friends while playing marbles in the dusty yard, her laughter ringing out with hope.
