Mariam
Mariam was born in 2018 in one of the poorest countries in the world. She has two siblings, and her family shares a small mud-brick home without electricity. Both of her parents are blind.
Mariam’s father was trained to weave seats for iron furniture and to weave on iron frames to make cots. This skill once provided a way for him to support his family. Sadly, there is no longer a market for these products, making it extremely difficult for him to provide for his family’s basic needs.
During the 2026–2027 school year, Mariam is in the third grade. One of the brightest parts of her day is going to school, where she loves learning to read and write. She is a bright and deserving child with a desire to learn and build a better future.
Her family is seeking a sponsor to help keep Mariam in school. Education can open the door to a brighter future for Mariam and her family.
Your sponsorship donations will help pay Mariam’s school tuition and provide the school supplies she needs. In addition, twice each year, Mariam and her family will receive 100 pounds of rice to help provide food for their household.
Would you prayerfully consider helping Mariam by becoming her sponsor?
Your support can make a lasting difference in this child’s life—giving her the opportunity to continue her education, learn, and hope for a brighter future.
