Lavielle Mariam
Rejoice with us that Lavielle Mariam has a second chance at success. Although she struggled in the traditional public-school setting, she persevered through the 6th grade. Though she worked hard her grades were unsatisfactory and she became quite discouraged.
Then she received the opportunity that she had prayed for. In February (2024) she was accepted into the residential vocational program for girls in West Africa. She is learning practical skills like sewing, weaving, gardening and animal husbandry. In this Christian setting she is encouraged to flourish and gain confidence while acquiring the skills needed to help her set up her own small business after graduation from this two- year program.
Sponsorship will help with the expense of room and board, sewing and weaving supplies and teacher salaries. Please help Laveille Mariam earn her diploma by becoming her sponsor.
