Hello, my name is Faousia. I was born on May 16, 2015. I live with both of my parents and my three siblings who are all older than I am. My parents have a small farm where we grow the food that we will eat throughout the year. When the rains are finished for the year, my father will get a little bit of work as a tailor making clothes for people. My mother works to cook and clean our home. We have no running water in our home, so we have to travel to the well to get it. We need a lot for all of our cooking, washing, and drinking. We are a Muslim family. This year (2020-21), I am in first grade. I walk about two kilometers each way to get there because I do not have a bike. I like all of the things that we are learning in school, but math is definitely my favorite. When I am all grown up, I would like to become a nurse so that I can learn how to take care of people.
