Faical is a bright fourth grader (2025-26) who lives with his loving grandparents even though both his parents are nearby. His father serves in the military, which keeps him away from home much of the time, and Faical is one of nine siblings. Only two of his brothers and sisters are able to attend school, making his education especially precious. Every morning, Faical walks about a kilometer to school, wishing sometimes he had a bicycle to make the journey easier, but he never lets that dampen his enthusiasm.

Faical’s favorite subject is math, and he dreams of becoming a police officer one day so he can help keep his community safe. After school, he enjoys studying and playing soccer with his friends, always keeping a hopeful spirit. Sponsorship makes it possible for Faical to continue learning and pursuing his dreams, and it gives him the encouragement he needs to know that God’s love reaches him, even in the small moments of everyday life.
