Elise and his twin brother were born in 2020 and are excited to begin first grade this 2026–2027 school year.

Elise’s family lives in one of the poorest countries in the world. Just eight months ago, February, 2026, tragedy struck when their father died in an accident at the gold mine where he worked to support his wife and their four young children. In one heartbreaking moment, everything changed. Elise’s mother suddenly became the sole provider for her family.

She diligently searches for work wherever she can, doing everything possible to make ends meet. Yet, despite her efforts, there are times when she barely has enough money to provide food for her children.

Even in the midst of these hardships, Elise’s mother continues to believe in the importance of education. She knows that school can open the door to a brighter future for her children. She never gives up hope that she will find a way to pay tuition for her twins.

Elise and his mother are praying that he will be blessed with a sponsor who can help provide the opportunity for him to continue his education.
