Elie and his twin brother were born in 2020. Their family lives in one of the poorest countries in the world, where daily life requires tremendous determination and resilience. The harsh climate, limited resources, and threat of illnesses such as malaria create many challenges for Elie and his family.

Eight months ago, tragedy struck when Elie’s father was killed in an accident at the gold mine where he worked. His mother is now struggling to provide for her four children on her own.

Elie and his twin brother are happy to be starting first grade this year, 2026–2027. Their mother knows that education can open the door to a brighter future, but paying school tuition is extremely difficult. When putting food on the table is the family’s first priority, being able to attend school can feel like a luxury.

Elie and his mother are praying that he will be blessed with a sponsor who can help support him and his family. Sponsorship donations provide tuition, a school uniform, and essential school supplies. In addition, Elie and his family will receive a 100-pound sack of rice twice a year, helping to ease their food insecurity.
