Kanazoe, Cheick Mohaze is a bright and determined sixth grader living in a modest home with his parents. Born in 2014, Mohaze enjoys studying math—the subject he loves most—and is dedicated to his education despite the challenges he faces. Each morning, he walks 1.5 kilometers to school because he does not have a bicycle, showing his commitment and perseverance. His parents work on their family farm during the rainy season, growing the food their family will rely on throughout the year, but neither has steady employment.

After school, Mohaze helps his mother by washing dishes, finishes his homework, and then joins his friends to play soccer, cherishing the simple joys of childhood. Coming from a Muslim household, Mohaze and his family value hard work and community. Through sponsorship, Mohaze can experience the love and support of the Christian community, encouraging him to pursue his dreams and reminding him that Jesus’ love and care reach across every boundary.
