Balguissa’s story is one of hope and resilience shaped by faith. After losing her mother and facing circumstances where her father could not care for her, Balguissa was blessed to be welcomed into the home of another woman who became her adoptive mother. Though their house does not have running water or electricity, Balguissa helps her adoptive mother with daily chores and finds joy in their close-knit life. The nearest well is about 100 meters from their courtyard, and while Balguissa does not own a bike, she is grateful to live very close to her school.

Balguissa’s favorite subject is History-Geography, and she dreams of working in Christian ministry when she grows up. Guided by her faith and supported by her loving adoptive mother, she hopes to make a difference in her community. Each day, she draws strength from her experiences and the promise of brighter days ahead, aspiring to share God’s love with others. Through sponsorship, Balguissa’s journey can be filled with encouragement and opportunities to pursue her calling.
