Hello, my name is Aphia Tenkodogo. I come from a Muslim family. I was born in 2017. I live with my parents and my seven older brothers and sisters. Our house is part of a larger compound where other families live, too. We do not have any running water or electricity in our home and the closest well is about a kilometer away. I walk about a kilometer each way to school. This year (2022-23), I am in kindergarten. I like school a lot because we are learning a lot of new games and my teacher sings songs with us. After school, I like to play house with my friends. Then I help my mom by washing the plates. When I’m all grown up, I want to be a teacher.
