This precious little girl is named Amdia. Her bright smile hides the heavy burdens she carries even at such a young age.

Amdia was born in West Africa in August 2018. Sadly, her mother passed away in July 2025, leaving a deep void in her life. Her father, once a hardworking laborer, has become very ill and is no longer able to work. As a result, Amdia now lives with her loving aunt, who is also caring for her own children. Taking in another child has been a challenge, but her aunt does her best to provide a safe and caring home.

This school year (2025–2026), Amdia has begun first grade. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to go to school and learn, but it is a financial strain for her aunt to meet all of her needs and cover school expenses.

A sponsorship would be a tremendous blessing for Amdia and her family. Sponsorship provides tuition, a school uniform, and school supplies. In addition, twice a year Amedia’s family receives soap and 100 pounds of rice, a gift that helps meet basic needs.
