Amdiatou lives with her loving parents and five siblings in a modest home that lacks basic comforts like running water and electricity. Her parents work hard to keep their family fed, tending a small farm that provides just enough for daily meals. Even though steady employment is difficult to find, their home is full of love and laughter. Three of Amdiatou’s siblings attend school, and she herself walks one kilometer each day, determined to learn and grow. Her favorite moments are spent studying her lessons and racing with friends, her dreams alive in every step.

Amdiatou’s greatest hope is to become a doctor, inspired by compassion for those around her and a desire to serve her community. Yet the road is not always easy, with limited resources and daily challenges.
