Hello, my name is Abdoul Rachid Korbeogo. I come from a Muslim family. I was born on February 16, 2017. I live with my parents and my older brother. We have a small home that does not have either running water or electricity. The closest well is about two kilometers from our home. Our family has a small farm where we grow some of the food that we eat throughout the year. Each day, I need to walk about two kilometers to school and then again home in the afternoon. This year (2022-23), I am in kindergarten. I like school a lot because we are learning a lot of new games and my teacher sings songs with us. After school, I like to play soccer. When I’m all grown up, I want to be a police officer so I can protect people.
