Hello, my name is Abdoul Fatao.  I come from a Muslim family.  I live with my parents and my six brothers and sisters.  We have a small home that does not have either running water or electricity.  The closest well is about a kilometer away.  Neither of my parents has a regular job, but they do the best they can to earn a little money and we have a small family farm that we work on during the rainy season to try to grow the food that we will eat throughout the year.  

I walk less than a kilometer each way to get to school.  Reading class is my favorite! After school, I study my lessons or play soccer with my neighbors.  When I’m all grown up, I want to become a police officer!
